I have worked with Tess for over a month to get my father into a safe and happy living environment. This emotional roller coaster has been no small feat, emergency guardianship, two hospitalizations, moving my father's belongings to assisted living, moving him to a temporary facility because he tested positive for Covid. Tess listened when I needed to talk; she fought for reasonable facility premiums when I had no idea they were in excess, and she was the one who turned in his keys so I could terminate his lease on time. She is such a knowledgeable resource and advocate. Tess builds relationships with clients lucky enough to work with her; we all need this when our parents are transitioning. I know that tomorrow, next month, or next year whenever I call her next, she will answer, and she will help.

Tess Mew, the owner/operator of SAPA worked tirelessly to find a group home suitable to my needs. She did a great job and I have the highest regard for her judgment and recommendations. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a group home or assisted living facility

I have worked in social services in one form or another for the past 30 years. That being said, when it’s your loved one who is in trouble or immediate need, everything you know or have even taught to others goes straight out the window! It happened to me when my mom needed a place in order to get out of a very bad situation. I went to the PCOA website, (I was thinking that much) and looked to help with placement. There enters Tess! She was a gift from God to me! She listened, understood, was compassionate but grounded and ready to help. She checked in with me regularly and helped me find the “perfect place” for my mom. She didn’t end her services there, she has followed up several times to make sure the transition went smoothly and that I had no problems or concerns. I recommend Tess to anyone.
